Oireachtas Disability Group pre-budget Submission 2019

The Oireachtas Disability Group, ODG launched its Budget 2019 submission in Leinster House on Tuesday 26^th June 2018. Following Ireland’s ratification of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, UN CRPD in March 2018, this ODG submission says ‘Now let’s make it a reality in people’s lives.’ It sets out ODG asks for Budget 2019.

The ODG is made of Dáil Deputies and Senators, together with representatives from the Disability Federation of Ireland, Inclusion Ireland, the National Federation of Voluntary Bodies providing supports to People with Intellectual Disability and the Not for Profit Association. The group was formed to collectively advance key issues with and for people with disabilities. Chair: Senator John Dolan, Vice Chair: Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin.
