Are you a DFI Company Member? Would you like to be more involved in shaping DFI’s business?
The Disability Federation of Ireland is accepting nominations for six upcoming vacancies to the DFI Board of Directors. The election (in case of more nomination than vacancies) will be held at the virtual DFI AGM on Thursday 10 June 2021. Save the date for your diary!
Who can be nominated?
If you are a Company Member for one of DFI’s member organisations, you can be elected to the Board of Directors. Company members are elected by DFI member organisations to represent their interests.
Not a company member?
Check with your organisation, maybe a place for a Company Member has recently become available and make sure they let us know of the change before the deadline passes. You are unsure if you qualify? Then feel free to give us a call to check on 01 454 7978.
How can I be nominated?
Nominations must be submitted in writing, seconded by another company member, with written consent of the person nominated (see links below). Please remember, that only Company Members can nominate, or be nominated as, a Director.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, forms may be submitted separately by email from the proposer, seconder and person consenting to being nominated.
Nominations must be submitted no later than 35 days before the AGM. Therefore, the closing date for receipt of nominations is 5:00pm, Wednesday 5th May. Please send your nominations to our Company Secretary Niall Keane at firstname.lastname@example.org
