The Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) has been re-awarded The KeepWell Mark, Ibec's National Workplace Wellbeing Accreditation, in recognition of the association’s continuous commitment to the health and wellbeing of its employees.

Accreditation is achieved through a rigorous process which includes benchmarking against recognised standards over eight separate wellbeing pillars, an on-site review and an external assessor audit.

Sarah McSharry of Ibec said:,“Attaining The KeepWell Mark™ demonstrates IWA’s ongoing commitment to promoting and embedding a wellbeing ethos, and that the company is forward-thinking in cascading wellbeing practices."

The KeepWell programme focuses on the key areas of workplace wellbeing ranging from leadersip, mental health, absence management to physical activity and healthy eating.

IWA have offered their thanks to everyone involved in obtaining the mark again this year and extended an invitation to anyone looking for a career in healthcare with an organisation that prioritises your wellbeing, to consider a career with IWA.
