DFI National Health Advisory Forum, NHAF
Presentation on the Partnership Principles developed by the Dialogue Forum between the Dept of Health and Voluntary organisations
The Forum has worked on developing Partnership Principles: Building A New Relationship between Voluntary Organisations and the State in the Health and Social Care Sectors.
It has been recognised that the principles need to be:
- Agreed and Shared
- Relevant and Meaningful and
- Impactful and Implementable
The key principles identified are:
- Trust and Mutual Respect
- Transparency
- Problem-Solving Deliberation
- Collective Leadership
- Accountable Autonomy
- Active Participation and Engagement
- Innovation and Learning
- Quality People-Centred Services
Dr Damien O’Reilly, NESC, worked with the Dialogue Forum to develop the principles and will give a presentation to DFI members on the principles and how they were developed. The principle will help to inform other aspects of the Forums work including the case studies in to the relationship between health services and voluntary organisations which the consultants Prospectus are leading out on now and the review of the HSE Service Arrangements.
