Make your voice count: Complete the 2026 DFI Membership Survey

April 21 2026, 01:24pm

Make your voice count (1)

Every day, our members do incredible work supporting people with disabilities across the country. But to advocate effectively on your behalf, we need to fully understand the realities you face on the ground. That is why we are calling on all members to participate in the DFI Annual Membership Survey 2026.

Your participation is a vital contribution that directly shapes the future of the disability sector. The information you provide helps us understand the true scale, impact, and challenges of our network. Ultimately, your data fuels our advocacy campaigns, guides the support we offer our members, and dictates our strategic priorities for the years ahead.

Why your input matters

When we approach policymakers, funders, and the public, we need hard facts to back up our requests. By completing this survey, you are ensuring that your organisation's voice, and the voices of the people you support, are represented. Please rest assured that all responses are treated with strict confidentiality and will only be reported in aggregated form to highlight sector-wide trends.

What you need to know before you start

The survey is designed to be as efficient as possible, taking approximately 12 minutes to complete.

Important note: The survey must be completed online in a single session. Because it is not possible to save your progress and return later, we highly recommend gathering the necessary information before you click the survey link.

To ensure a smooth experience, please have the following data on hand:

  • Staff and volunteer numbers: Current figures for your organisation.

  • Service user data: The total number of people you support, as well as current waiting list figures.

  • Financial data: Your organisation’s financial information for the 2024 operating year.

Deadline and Contact Information

Please submit your completed survey no later than Thursday 30 April.

If you have any questions or run into any issues while preparing your data, we are here to help. Please reach out to your DFI Membership Development Manager, Susan O’Brien, at susanobrien@disability-federation.ie.

Thank you for your time, your continued dedication to the disability sector, and for helping us build a stronger, more informed collective.
