Joint statement

The joint statement, led by the EU Funds for Social Coalition, is a collaborative initiative. This statement outlines eight key success factors for the future of the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), aiming to ensure that effective measures, such as capacity building and the use of intermediary bodies - are maintained and strengthened in upcoming EU budget proposals. The document urges the European Commission to build on proven strategies to support the inclusion and rights of people with disabilities across Europe.

DFI is among the 288 national organisations from 32 countries that co-signed this joint statement, demonstrating our commitment to advocating for inclusive EU social funding. By adding our name to this initiative, we're reinforcing our role as an advocate for disability rights and inclusion in Ireland and at the EU level.
