Access for All Regional Network Meetings
November 10 2020, 11:32am
DFI invite you to join us online for the Regional Network meetings for Access and Disability Interest Groups from across the country. Meetings will be held on the following dates:
Regional Network Meeting North West, West & South
Tuesday, 24th November, 11.00am – 1.00pm
Regional Network Meeting East, South East & Midlands
Thursday, 26th November, 2.30pm - 4.30pm
You can attend the meeting that suits you best. Please let us know the meeting you want to attend by Monday, 16th November to Edel Killarney at firstname.lastname@example.org. It is important that we know the number of people that will be attending to ensure we have the technical resources we need to host the meeting online
Please also let us know if you require a sign language interpreter for the meeting. We will book an interpreter but will cancel the booking in advance if an interpreter is not required.
We will be hosting the meeting on Microsoft Teams. We find the platform user-friendly with good accessibility features. If you have not used Teams before, please don’t let this put you off. You won’t need to download any software to use Teams. We will send you a link via email and once you click that link you will be able to immediately join the meeting. We will do a quick demonstration of some features at the beginning of our meeting for anyone who is unsure.

The Agenda will include
- Welcome & Introductions
- Issues arising in your Access Group & Discussion
- DFI Updates
- Purple Lights Campaign
In the meantime, if you have any items that you would like to include in the Agenda, raise at the meeting or have any questions, please let us know by Monday, 16th November 2020.
This invitation is open to all of your groups members so please pass this invitation on and encourage as many people to attend as possible – while remembering to RSVP!
Finally, we are conscious of making emails and any documents we create as accessible as possible. If you had any issues reading the content of this email, please let us know.
We look forward to seeing you all on our screens very soon.
Stay Safe and Take Care,
Edel & the DFI Community Team - email@example.com.
