DFI had the chance to catch up and congratulate the Clayton Hotel for achieving the JCI Galway Business Award 2015 for Disability Access. The Friendly Business Awards seek to recognize and celebrate businesses that go the “extra mile” by continuing to enhance the customer experience without compromising on customer service, despite the current difficult economic climate.

Left to Right: Toni Gleeson (DFI), Cathy McGrath (DFI), PJ Cleere (DFI) with Darragh O'Connor (Clayton Hotel) who is holding their award from JCI Galway for the Disability Access Category.

Darragh O'Connor of the Clayton noted that "The feedback we got from DFI over the last twelve months about access at the hotel, spurned us on to improve our physical product and to improve the training we provide to our staff. Whilst we have more strides to make we are honored to have been recognized with this award."

The Clayton Hotel were also crowned ‘Overall Winners of the JCI Galway Friendly Business Awards 2015’‘and will proceed to the national JCI finals in Donegal in October. Well done to all those at the Clayton for their genuine efforts in striving for full accessibility in customer service and care.
