2013 Better Together Video Competition
September 17 2013, 04:02pm
Entries are now open for the 2013 Better Together Video Competition!
This is your chance to boost your cause's public profile, attract new supporters, receive donations and potentially win a €1,000 cash prize!
How Do You Enter?
Any community and voluntary group, club or association can enter an online video at www.bettertogether.ie between 16 September and 8 November 2013. It can be a new or existing video, but it must be no longer than two minutes.
Ideally, your video should tell us a story about:
- what your organisation does,
- why it matters to your community,
- how the public can support your work, and
- how we can make Ireland Better Together.
Last year a whopping 273,933 people voted for the videos submitted by charities, clubs and associations from across Ireland. That's a lot of potential supporters, volunteers and donors!
From 24 September we'll be inviting the public to start voting for their favourite videos. The top 30 videos will be shortlisted in three categories (big, medium and small/volunteer only organisations) and the winners in each category will receive a €1,000 cash prize. Entries close on 8 November at 5pm, but the sooner you enter, the better your chances.
Use the optional donation function to fundraise through the Better Together website. A donation button will appear right next to your video!
Already Have A Video on Youtube, Vimeo or BlipTV?
Just submit the link here (remember your video has to be two minutes or shorter).
