The Government has launched a stakeholder consultation on a new strategy to support the community and voluntary sector, and this is your chance to shape its direction.

At a time when communities are facing complex social, economic, and environmental challenges, this strategy should recognise our value, secure our sustainability and deepen the partnership between the state and the community and voluntary sector.

This is a vital opportunity to call for:

• Long-term, sustainable funding to support the sector’s essential role in strengthening social cohesion and inclusive development
• Greater cross-government and cross-agency collaboration, so we can work more effectively across departments, regions, and communities
• Joined-up and integrated working, recognising the sector as a key partner in delivering real change on the ground
• Continued support for inclusive consultation, particularly with marginalised and underrepresented groups
• A stronger voice for Public Participation Networks, PPNs and local engagement structures
• Progress on key commitments like the Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs and the Public Sector Equality and Human Rights Duty.
