Martin Naughton's Memoir Never Know Your Place was published on Monday 11 March by O'Brien Press. 

Co-author Joanna Marsden joined disability activists and Martin's sister Barbara for a photcall in Dublin at Hodges Figgis to mark publication day.

Never Know Your Place is available now in all bookshops and as a ebook and we encourage you to pick up a copy and to spread the word about this account of a part of Martin's life which is almost a blueprint for how an activist is born. It tells the story of how Martin won his independence and also changed the landscape for a while generation of disabled people.

Videos 

We will have a series of videos available on the book. In this first one Joanna gives a brief introduction to the book and Martin's story. 

We will have some additionalol video content aimed at book clubs and other groups who would like to take on reading the book. Joanna will share some insights into how she co-authored the book with Martin and reflects on the story as well as offering some discussion questions and a short reading from the book.
