Carers Week – June 14th-20th 2010

The 4^th National Carers Week takes place this year between June 14^th and 20^th

9 leading National Voluntary Organisations have signed up as Official Partners for the week (detailed below)

Many groups around the country are busy planning events for Family Carers during the week. Care Alliance Ireland is leading in the national co-ordination of the week and will host the national launch in The Mansion House on Monday June 14th at 10:30am. The Lord Major, Cllr. Eimear Costello along with celebrities will join with us in celebrating the week.

If your organisation is interested in getting involved in organising an event for Carers Week, please call Care Alliance on 01 -874 7776 or e-mail admin@carersweek.ie and they can arrange delivery of pens, trolley coins and other merchandise. We will also advertise your event on the website www.carersweek.ie and in our national and local press releases closer to the time.
