Corporate and Operations Administrator

Role Purpose
The Corporate and Operations Administrator will provide high-level administrative support across DFI. Working closely with the Corporate and Management Teams, they will implement policies and procedures in the corporate service function and support the management team's engagement at national, EU and international level. The successful candidate will build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to the delivery of DFI's strategic and operational plans.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Corporate and Operational Administration
- Provide reliable administrative support across DFI's corporate and operational functions
- Manage the timely distribution of governance-related meeting papers and monitor follow-through on actions
- Contribute to DFI's annual governance planning
- Meet regularly with the Corporate Administration Team to ensure tasks are completed on time
- Identify and pursue opportunities to improve the corporate service function
Event Management
- Oversee operational aspects of regional, national, EU and international events
- Provide operational support to campaigns and projects as required
- Support DFI's online meetings and webinars
DFI Database
- Provide administrative oversight of DFI's databases and carry out related duties
General Administration
- Support DFI projects and programmes
- Promote more effective use of applications across DFI's work, including Teams, Zoom, Outlook and Microsoft Office
- Undertake general office duties including telephone answering, filing, post, photocopying, document preparation, and stationery management
Essential Criteria
- At least three years' experience in a similar role
- Strong organisational, time management and analytical skills
- Experience managing multiple tasks and projects while meeting deadlines under pressure
- Ability to manage competing priorities with confidence
- Proven ability to work on own initiative and as part of a virtual or office-based team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in a solution-focused way
- Experience maintaining strong administrative systems and practices
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and ClickDimensions or similar
- Strong attention to detail and work discipline
Desirable
- A commitment to the role and value of the voluntary disability sector
