We provide information sessions, seminars and training events to community and voluntary sector organisations on quality, governance, legislation, and EU directives.
Working with and promoting Improving Quality (IQ) as a Quality Management System for the sector we provide advice, information and training on d IQ, what it is, how it works, how to implement it and how to prepare for an audit.
More recently, SOLA has developed a series of training, networking, peer mentoring and information seminars for community and voluntary organisations senior managements, chairs and other board members.
We work closely with the University of Limerick providing a project mentoring service for QQI Level 9 students, work experience in the sector, PhD opportunities and community and voluntary sector specific course development.
To date a suite of 4 QQI Level 8 modules have been developed for community and voluntary sector employees or those who wish to pursue a career in the sector;
